Well bred Kalanisi filly selling at Tatts Yearling Sale next week

Boardsmill Stud is consigning a well bred yearling filly by Kalanisi on Day 1 of next weeks Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale (Lot 278). A full sister to Graded Juvenile hurdle winner Kyrie Eleison, she is also a half sister to a multiple 2 year old winner Black Panthera (by Intikhab), who went on to win this year’s 1,000 Guineas in Poland. Her only other sibling to race to date is the promising 2 year old Busalla (by Bertolini), who has been placed at Cork and Dundalk from his only 2 starts to date.

This attractive correct filly hails from an Airlie Stud family and her dam Peratus (by Mujadil) is a half sister to very speedy race filly Velvet Appeal who won the Listed Woodland Stakes at Naas and was placed at Group 3 level also.

Given her pedigree’s versatility, this filly is sure to attract a lot of interest from a broad spectrum of potential buyers -domestic and international, flat and jumps.
