2017 G. Califet ex Julia Glynn

This very athletic gelding stands almost 16.3h.h. and is very light on his feet for such a tall horse.  He is a son of multiple Grade 1 producing sire Califet, sire of French Gold Cup winner Carriacou amongst many others. Califet’s first Irish bred crop are now 5 year olds and he has produced a number of very promising winners from this crop including most recently the Ben Pauling trained Stokes, a Boardsmill graduate of this sale 2 years ago and winner of his only start in a bumper. This gelding is out of a half sister to Grade 1 winning chaser Casey Jones, he hails from the family of Cheltenham Festival winner Holmwood Legend.
